Not too long ago nations ached, sacrificed and managed to gain freedom from the British.
Times have passed, kings are gone and chains have been broken...a new era has begun...then again...I heard this whisper...in painful voice, singing in low pitch which was purely like a wounded soul.
Let me hear... sound of the chains as we walk
Let me hear... sound of the pain as we talk
Let me see... tears in your eyes
Let me feel...fear in your sighs...
After more than half of century these muffled screams, these wounds and these miseries had no visible reason. To say we are free and free man could bear windstorms, could face life's difficulties but this free man was sleepless in fear,
wounded and crawled up having eyes filled with tear,
running without a steer,
he was laughing but had nothing to cheer......
there were joint families surviving together and sharing,
happy and sad moments of life,
marking memorable life events be it someone’s passing away or a birth,
be it a marriage ceremony or some special occasion.
Parents had raised kids up with values in a way that kids would take care of parents in old age by setting examples of taking care of their own elders.
Teachers were given respect and right to educate kid as of an authority.
What has happened within fifty years or so?
Why is all starting to fade away like a color fading from a cloth?
Old age homes are starting to surface, where kids are abandoning their parents like of a burden.
Brothers are dividing as a trend, they are getting married and moving out and going about their own ways.
Everyone facing problems of their own, no one wants to help one other.
Divorce rates are rising as if it has become a fashion, no one is willing to compromise.
nowadays parents become God and decide to have the child or not, what used to be a joy has now become burden.
Affordability is the main concern now…can we afford it or not? Do we want it or not?
Education has become a profitable business, where education's quality is based on the cost of education. The higher the tuition fee, the higher the standard and name of school, and knowledge is based on degrees.
Friends are just people we know as everyone out there is for their survival.
Friendship use to be a gathering of people who go through life's ups and downs together.
but now Everyone is out there to step on one another to climb up to the top to come into power.
Selfishness is the new humanity, charity organizations are increasing day by day for their benefit, they have their own aim, they have their own agendas.
Survival has once again gone back to stone age as everyone is in their own cave
and wealth is measured by power, where only the strongest caveman survives,
rest is left for wild and dead as of waste.
How humanity has changed its standards of human or human changed standards
of humanity.
Living in Pakistan you could see all these different tracks so clearly that
it seems almost unbearable to see your own position as a human.
There isn't much difference in other countries either but visibility of acts
is more clear in places where there is no shame left in dishonest acts, or
hunger has grown so much that you could almost see a human eating other human
by snatching, stealing, deceiving, cheating, threatening, killing...but when does it all starts to go out of hand? And what is causing all this hell fire...
all these thoughts or feelings in mind ...where do i start from?
